Northwoods has two professional level golfers on staff that can help anyone learn or improve their golf game.

Greg McBride has been at Northwoods since June of 1990. He played golf as a member of the University of South Carolina Golf Team. He is a regular member of the South Carolina Palmetto Cup Team, the finest professional players in South Carolina.

Burke Cromer has only won the Player of the Year for the South Carolina PGA three times.

All of the Northwoods staff members strive to ensure that all golfers have an enjoyable adventure.

All private lessons are offered by the staff employed by the Northwoods Golf course. All ages and skill levels can participate in golf lessons from April through September. Video is available for these golf lessons. The cost is $50 per hour.

From March through November, avid golf students can continue to learn in the evenings on the lighted driving range. During the summer, junior clinics are offered. Playing lessons are also offered on the course. Corporate or group golf lessons are available by request.
